GTA VI pre-orders have been open since June 25, 2026. The official price is €79.99 for the standard edition and €99.99 for the Ultimate, but not all stores sell exactly the same thing or at the same price.
This is the updated comparison of where to buy it in Spain.
Quick summary
If you just want to play on November 19 without complications, the PlayStation Store or the Xbox Store are the most direct option: you buy, pre-load on November 12 and that’s it.
If you are looking to save, physical stores (GAME, MediaMarkt, Amazon.es, El Corte Inglés) can drop below the official price during specific campaigns. The trade-off is that what you buy is a download code in a box, not a disc.
Buying digital
PlayStation Store
Direct purchase from the console or the web. The price is official: €79.99 for the standard, €99.99 for the Ultimate. There are rarely discounts on Rockstar launches.
Pros: automatic pre-load on November 12, zero risk of a defective code, and the free month of GTA+ that accompanies digital purchases made before November 20.
Xbox Store
Same scheme and same price. Just like on PlayStation, digital purchases before November 20 include the Vintage Vice City Pack and the month of GTA+.
Buying in stores
Here is the important nuance: the physical version of GTA VI does not include a disc. Inside the box there is a download code. Rockstar sources cited by The Hollywood Reporter indicated that there are no plans to print discs either at launch or later.
This means that buying in a store does not give you a resale item nor does it save you download time. The only thing it can give you is a better price.
Amazon.es
It usually matches or improves the official price in the weeks prior to launch with a pre-order price guarantee. If it drops before November 19, they automatically charge you the lowest amount.
Digital savings: PlayStation Store prepaid cards
The best trick to save on the PlayStation 5 digital version is to buy discounted prepaid balance:
- PSN Card €80 at Instant Gaming (Approx. €72.99): You save ~€7 on the standard edition.
- PSN Card €100 at Instant Gaming (Approx. €89.99): You save ~€10 on the Ultimate edition.
MediaMarkt and PcComponentes
MediaMarkt and PcComponentes allow you to pre-order both the PS5 and Xbox Series X editions with home delivery or free pickup at a physical store on launch day.
GAME and El Corte Inglés
Traditional specialized stores. They maintain the official price of €79.99 for the standard and €99.99 for the Ultimate.
What does NOT change depending on where you buy
- The date: all editions launch on November 19, 2026. There is no early access on any version or in any store.
- The pre-load: November 12 for everyone.
- The bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack applies to any digital purchase before November 20, and to physical pre-orders while supplies last. It is not exclusive to pre-ordering early.
Is it worth pre-ordering now?
With a cool head: in digital there is no risk of running out of stock, and the bonus remains until November 20. There is no real urgency.
Pre-ordering now makes sense if you want to secure a physical copy while supplies last, or if you prefer to have it paid for and forget about it.
If what you are looking for is the best price, waiting for the October and November campaigns on Amazon or MediaMarkt is a reasonable strategy, provided you buy before November 20 so you don’t lose the bonus pack.
Beware of scams
There is no beta, early access or special pre-order outside of official stores. Any website that asks for bank details promising keys or early access is a fraud.
