The arrival of GTA 6 on PC is one of the most anticipated events of the decade, but also one of the most demanding for our systems. With the generational leap of the RAGE engine and the immensity promised by the state of Leonida, Rockstar Games will raise the graphical bar.

Will your PC be ready to run the game? At GTA 6 Price we have gathered estimates based on current console architecture (PS5 and Xbox Series X) to create a Compatibility Calculator.

Check your PC

Select your computer’s components below. Our algorithm will evaluate if you meet the minimum or recommended requirements, or if you are ready for the ultimate 4K Ultra experience.

¿PODRÁ TU PC CON GTA VI?

Selecciona los componentes de tu equipo actual y nuestra base de datos calculará si harás cuello de botella con el motor RAGE de Rockstar.

Estimated Minimum Requirements (1080p at 30 FPS)

For those who simply want to be able to enter Vice City, even with the graphical settings at the lowest:

  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5-10400F / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA GTX 1080 Ti / AMD RX 5700 XT
  • RAM Memory: 16 GB DDR4
  • Storage: M.2 NVMe SSD (minimum 150 GB available)

Important: Playing GTA 6 on a traditional mechanical hard drive (HDD) will likely result in unbearable loading times and severe stuttering when driving through the city at high speed. An SSD will be strictly required.

This is the ideal configuration to enjoy the game exactly as Rockstar has designed it, with enviable fluidity and high graphics:

  • Operating System: Windows 11 64-bit
  • Processor (CPU): Intel Core i5-13400F / AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
  • Graphics Card (GPU): NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti / AMD RX 6700 XT
  • RAM Memory: 32 GB DDR5
  • Storage: M.2 NVMe SSD (PCIe Gen 4)

The key: Why you will need more than 16 GB of RAM

Rockstar’s open worlds are famous for simulating thousands of NPC routines, traffic, complex physics and weather systems simultaneously. Although current consoles share 16 GB of unified memory, on the PC platform, the operating system (Windows) already reserves a good portion of RAM for itself.

Therefore, we estimate that 32 GB of RAM will be the new standard to avoid stuttering.

If you have used our calculator and your system does not meet the requirements, we suggest taking advantage of the linked recommendations to upgrade your computer’s key parts before the big launch.
